Christopher Nolan’s historic promotional visit to India for The Odyssey has already delivered a viral moment ahead of the grand premiere. Before the official Mumbai screening, the acclaimed filmmaker stepped out with Tom Holland and Matt Damon to visit the legendary 106-year-old Olympia Coffee House in Colaba.

Choosing cutting chai and bun maska over luxury hospitality, the Hollywood trio embraced one of Mumbai’s most cherished traditions. Universal Pictures India shared the casual outing, and the video quickly went viral across social media.

The visit became even more memorable because the cafe staff had no idea who their guests were. Although members of the film’s entourage arrived earlier, the employees carried on with their routine. The manager reportedly realised who was sitting at the table only after a quick online search revealed that one of the guests was Spider-Man star Tom Holland.

By then, Nolan, Holland, and Damon were quietly enjoying their tea, chatting casually, and soaking in the cafe’s old world charm without seeking any special attention. The trio reportedly spent around 15 minutes there before curious crowds began gathering outside.

The simple stop offered a refreshing contrast to the glamour that usually surrounds Hollywood promotions, as the stars chose an authentic local experience at one of Mumbai’s oldest cafes. Their humble visit has become one of the biggest talking points of The Odyssey‘s India tour, adding to the excitement ahead of the film’s theatrical release on July 17, 2026.
