Stalwart actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan’s much-delayed film on global terrorism, Vishwaroopam 2, recently completed the censor formalities. The film is a sequel to the blockbuster espionage thriller, Vishwaroopam, that released in 2013.
As per the latest updates, Vishwaroopam 2 is gearing up for an Independence Day weekend release. The film has high doses of patriotism, and there can’t be any better release date than August 2nd week for Vishwaroopam 2.
Vishwaroopam 2 also features Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose and Shekar Kapur in prominent roles. Ghibran is the film’s music composer. Apart from playing the main lead, Kamal has also written, directed and produced this highly-anticipated action thriller.
