Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma is making headlines even before its release with a massive non-theatrical deal. According to industry sources, Zee5 has acquired the film’s non-theatrical rights for a whopping Rs. 50 crores.

The deal reportedly includes both the satellite and OTT streaming rights, making it one of the notable pre-release business deals in recent times.

The strong deal reflects the confidence that the streaming platforms have in the project. Karthik Varma directs the film which has Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.

With growing curiosity surrounding the film, the makers have won half the battle as the film has been made on a very high budget and most of it has now been recovered.
