On the occasion of former Chief Minister of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s 9th death anniversary, the makers of YSR’s biopic ‘Yatra’ unveiled the film’s first single this morning. The song is inspiring and offers a few glimpses of YSR’s ambitious Padayatra and his popularity among the masses.
Samara Shankham is penned by legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetharamasastry and sung by Kaala Bhairava. Tamil music composer K has scored the song, which was recorded at a renowned symphony in Macedonia.
Yatra will be hitting screens in January early next year. Mollywood Megastar Mammootty is playing YSR’s role in the movie. Mahi V Raghav is directing Yatra. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy are jointly bankrolling the project under 70mm Entertainments banner.
