Film fraternity across the country is deeply shocked with the kidnap and assault case of star Malayalam heroine Bhavana. The Incident raised serious questions on women’s safety in India.
Even before everyone could come out of this shock, the fresh revelation made by young Tamil actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar on Twitter about sexual harassment by a TV channel executive has rattled everyone, including her fans and colleagues.
Celebs down South are appreciating Varalakshmi for speaking out about the harassment as this will give courage to more women in the film industry and other fields to come out in the open about their turmoil and hopefully put an end to the menace.
