8119 Miles is a film that has been in the news for a long time now. The film tells the story of Gabriel D’Selva who is a mechanic from Goa. His dream is to visit the UK, a dream but fails to secure a visa. So, a desperate Gabriel resorts to an ancient route used by illegal migrants.

The film will be out on NET 5, a web platform that aims at bringing world cinemas to the screens at your home. The director of the film, Joe Eshwar earlier made Kunthapura, a period drama set in the 1920s in 2013. 8119 Miles is his second feature.

Joe has directed 26 documentaries and lives in the UK. So, we need to see how does he narrates the film when it is out on Net 5.

Popular TV host Pradeep Machiraju made his debut as a lead hero with the just released love story, 30 Rojullo Preminchatam Ela. Even though the film received a mixed response from critics, it’s posting decent numbers at the box-office.

Now, the latest reports reveal that 30 Rojullo Preminchatam Ela’s director Munna had first narrated the film’s story to Allu Sirish. The actor was impressed with the story and the project was all set for take-off. But Sirish had walked out of the project in the last minute following creative differences.

Munna then approached yet another Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej, but the actor didn’t show much interest in the script. That’s when Pradeep Machiraju came into the picture and he signed the project.

Yet another big day for star hero Prabhas and his fans. The regular shooting for the pan-India actor’s much-awaited mythological magnum opus, Adipurush, kick-started in Mumbai this morning. The film’s director Om Raut took to Twitter and made the announcement with a simple poster.

Adipurush is going to be a 3D visual extravaganza. The motion capture work began a couple of weeks ago. Prabhas, who has been shooting for Salaar in Godavarikhani, Telangana, will join the sets soon. Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon will be seen as the demon king Lankesh and goddess Sita respectively, while Prabhas plays Lord Rama.

T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar is bankrolling this Hindi-Telugu bilingual epic in association with Prasad Sutar, Rajesh Nair and Om Raut. The film will also have a huge release in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
