The number of Bollywood stars testing positive for the deadly Novel Coronavirus is increasing with each passing day. The latest reports reveal that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19 and is currently under home isolation.

“”Mr Aamir Khan has tested positive for COVID-19. He is at home in self-quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern,” a statement from Aamir’s spokesperson read.

Aamir will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, an official remake of the Oscar-winning Hollywood film Forrest Gump. The film is scheduled to release in December this year.

Yet another sports drama based on Kabaddi is coming out from Tollywood. The makers of Arjun Chakravarty, a hard-hitting and emotional period film based on a true story, today announced that the film will have a pan-India release. Today marks World Kabaddi Day and the makers unveiled Arjun Chakravarty’s intense glimpse.

Nearly 75 percent of Arjun Chakravarty’s shoot has been wrapped up in over 125 locations across India, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir. The film is a rural drama set in the time period between 1960 to 1980.

Arjun Chakravarty features debutants Vijaya Rama Raju and Sija Rose in lead roles. The film is being directed by Venu KC and produced by Srini Gubbala under Gannet Celluloid banner. The film is simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil and it will be dubbed in Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

Star hero Ravi Teja’s upcoming action entertainer Khiladi’s unit has been camping in Italy and shooting in several picturesque locations for the last couple of weeks. Ravi Teja and the film’s leading ladies Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi have shot for several crucial scenes and action episodes in this ongoing schedule.

Khiladi’s Italy schedule is progressing at a brisk pace and the unit will wrap up the ongoing schedule and return to Hyderabad by March end. Touted as an official remake of the yet-to-release Tamil thriller, Sathuranga Vettai 2, Khiladi is being directed by Ramesh Varma and produced jointly by Koneru Satyanarayana and Jayantilal Gada. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the soundtrack for the movie, which is releasing on May 28.
