Star director Trivikram was the chief guest at the pre-release event of Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming romantic entertainer, Rang De. Speaking at the event, Trivikram said that Nithiin and Keerthy play A(rjun) and A(nu) in the movie and went on to wish the film a bigger success than his film A..Aa.

“Animals can see only in black and white whereas humans are blessed with the ability to see the seven colours. Rang De will show you all those seven colours in your lives,” Trivikram said. The director was all praise for his longtime collaborator and star composer Devi Sri Prasad. He said that DSP has been ruling the number one position since long as he came from a classical music background.

Directed by Venky Atluri, Rang De has been produced by Naga Vamsi. The film is gearing up for release on March 26.

Star hero Mahesh Babu is currently working on his most eagerly awaited Sankranthi biggie, Sarkaru Vaari Paata. After this film, Mahesh is expected to join hands with Anil Ravipudi followed by the highly-anticipated pan-India film under Rajamouli’s direction.

Now, an exciting buzz has just started to gain strength in Tollywood circles. Apparently, Mahesh recently listened to a story idea narrated by a debut director. Mahesh is said to have been impressed with the storyline and asked the aspiring filmmaker to come back with a full-fledged script. Well, whether Mahesh will act in the film or if he will only produce it will be known in the coming days.

Hero Nithiin revealed that he had his doubts about playing a 24-year-old when he first listened to Rang De’s story. “My actual age is 36. So I asked my director Venky how I could play a college student. Venky assured me that I will look perfect in the role. And when I was told that PC Sreeram sir will be the cinematographer, I was relieved. Thanks to PC sir, I look younger than Keerthy on the screen,” Nithiin said.

Nithiin also joked about his previous film Check’s failure. “When I had 3 flops, Vennela Kishore garu gave me a hit with Bheeshma. My previous film Check went to Assam. So Vennela Kishore is again back in Rang De to bring me back from Assam and give me another blockbuster,” Nithiin said. The actor also shook a leg with the film’s music composer Devi Sri Prasad, with whom he is collaborating with for the first time.
