Tollywood director Anil Ravipudi, known for his successful track record, is gearing up for the release of his film Sankranthiki Vasthunnam on January 14, 2025.

During a promotional event, actor VTV Ganesh revealed that Thalapathy 69 is a remake of Bhagavanth Kesari. However, Anil reportedly turned down the chance to direct Vijay in the remake. Addressing the buzz, Anil clarified that his conversation with Vijay was different and left it to the team to confirm whether the film is a remake.

Fans feel Anil missed a rare opportunity to collaborate with Thalapathy Vijay. While some believe he prefers original stories over remakes, others speculate he might enter Kollywood later with a fresh script. For now, the reason behind his decision remains unclear, leaving fans eager for an explanation.
