On the second Monday, the latest box-office monster Dhurandhar broke one more record. The Ranveer Singh starrer collected a jaw-dropping Rs. 31.8 crore nett, which many films struggle to achieve even during their first weekend. Notably, the second Monday collection is higher than the film’s first-day numbers.
The previous record for the second Monday was held by Pushpa 2: The Rule (Rs. 20.5 crore nett), but this Aditya Dhar directorial has shattered it by a huge margin. Usually, films witness a significant drop on the second Monday, but Dhurandhar is rewriting box-office records.
Dhurandhar is set to join the Rs. 400 crores nett club today, with its march now heading towards Rs. 500 crores, Rs. 600 crores, and beyond. Globally, the film has grossed nearly Rs. 600 crores.
Dhurandhar also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in crucial roles. Produced jointly by Aditya Dhar, Lokesh Dhar, and Jio Studios, the box office juggernaut features music by Shashwat Sachdev.
