Brahmāstra, the crazy Bollywood project released on September 9, is still doing decent business at the box office. The National Cinema Day and the reduced ticket prices helped the film post respectable numbers. The cute couple Ranbir and Alia did the lead roles.
According to the makers, the film minted 425 crores gross from its 25 days of theatrical run. This is the highest-grossing Bollywood film this year as per the movie unit. Tollywood actor Nagarjuna played a vital role in this fantasy action drama.
Ayan Mukerji of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani fame directed this mega-budget film that is produced by Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, Prime Focus, and Star Studios. Part 2 of this trilogy will go on to the sets soon.
