A small-budget Malayalam film titled Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, which starred Basil Joseph and Hridayam fame Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles turned out to be a stupendous blockbuster for 2022. The movie, directed by Vipin Das, is a satirical take on domestic violence against women.
The latest buzz on social media is that the movie will be remade in Hindi. The talk is that Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh will reprise the role of Darshana Rajendran in Hindi.
Vipin Das is said to be directing the remake version too. The movie will be bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions, as per the grapevine. The remake rumors started as soon as Vipin Das posted a picture of him with Fatima Sana Shaikh on his Instagram handle.
