In an industry where being inspired by other films to make a new film is very common, what is uncommon is having a filmmaker reveal where the inspiration comes from.
That is why it does come as a surprise when director Satish Vegesna reveals that his upcoming film Entha Manchivadavura is inspired by the Gujarati film Oxygen.
Speaking in an interview, the director revealed that the film has been written based on the story outline of Oxygen. However he called it a “half make” considering the story and the idea is presented in a completely new way.
