The upcoming film, Zombie Reddy, is being promoted by its makers as the first zombie thriller ever made in Tollywood. This ambitious film has been directed by Prashanth Varma and he chose an untried subject of Coronavirus pandemic and zombies. Teja Sajja is making his debut as a hero, while Anandhi and Daksha Nagarkar are the heroines.
As per the latest updates, Zombie Reddy has made a good pre-release business. Although the OTT deal is yet to be closed, the Telugu satellite rights have been sold to Star Maa for Rs 2.50 Cr and the Hindi rights were sold for Rs 2 Cr.
Zombie Reddy is all set for its theatrical release on February 5. The film will be released in AP and Telangana through Geetha Arts and UV Creations.
