After the modest success of his epic historical saga, Rudhramadevi, director Gunasekhar has been busy with the pre-production work of yet another high budget historical, Prathaparudrudu, a sequel to Rudhramadevi.
However, a couple of days ago, there were reports that Gunasekhar has put Prathaparudrudu on hold temporarily and that he has commenced working on a low budget quickie before he moves on to Prathaparudrudu later this year.
Yesterday, Gunasekhar took to his Twitter page to refute the rumours in style saying, “Exploring Archives..Meeting up with historians..R&D in full swing #Prathaparudrudu #TheLastEmperor”. This proves that Prathaparudrudu is very much on and is going on at a good pace.
