Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay is celebrating his birthday today. On this special occasion, the makers of his highly anticipated swan song, Jana Nayagan, have just unveiled the first roar from the movie. The first roar is nothing but a video glimpse introducing Vijay’s first look.
In Jana Nayagan’s first roar, Vijay leaves his fans mesmerized with his uber stylish look in a beard and his trademark swag in a police officer avatar. With his fist soaked in blood, Vijay takes on the protestors while huge fires literally burn all around him. Anirudh Ravichander’s blazing soundtrack is a major highlight of the first roar. Given Vijay’s political journey ahead, the first roar begins with Vijay’s statement from a public event and a powerful quote, “A true leader rises not for power, but for the people.”
Jana Nayagan also features Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles. The H Vinoth directorial is being produced by K Venkata Narayana under his KVN Productions banner. The film is scheduled for release on January 9, 2026.
