The Telangana state government has approved enhanced ticket prices for Yash-starrer Toxic ahead of its August 26, 2026 release. The revised rates will be applicable from August 26 to September 4, 2026.
As per the Government Order issued today, theatres can charge an additional Rs. 50 in single screens and Rs. 100 in multiplexes and special theatres, inclusive of GST. This takes the ticket prices to Rs. 227 for single screens and Rs. 395 for multiplexes during the 10-day period. Bookings are expected to open shortly.
The GO permits five regular shows per day and also directs KVN and Monster Mind Creations LLP to contribute Rs. 1 crore to the Telugu Film Industry Employees’ Welfare Committee Account for the welfare of film industry workers.
Theatres have also been instructed to screen advertisements highlighting the adverse effects of narcotics, drugs and cybercrime.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and starring Yash, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups releases worldwide on August 26, 2026. The film also features Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth in key roles.
