Allu Sirish had made his Malayalam debut with the Mohanlal-starrer patriotic drama, 1971: Beyond Borders, last year. The film’s Telugu version, which was supposed to release earlier this year, is finally seeing the light of day. Titled Yuddha Bhumi, the Telugu version is gearing up to hit the screens on June 22.
In Yuddha Bhumi, Sirish will be seen as Lieutenant Chinmay. Mumbai actress Srushti Dange is paired opposite Sirish in the movie. Major Ravi directed the movie, which is based on the 1971 Indo-Pak war. AN Balaji is releasing the film in Telugu. The film’s censor formalities were completed recently and the post-production work is nearing completion.
