Naga Chaitanya has joined hands with Virupaksha director Karthik Varma Dandu for a new mythical thriller, tentatively titled NC24. The film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as an archaeologist named Lakshya.
The team had planned to reveal Meenakshi’s first look today but decided to postpone it because of a tragic incident in Chevella, Rangareddy district.
In a note, the makers said they were deeply saddened by what happened, offering their condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. They also shared that the character poster reveal has been moved to tomorrow out of respect for those affected.
The film also features Laapataa Ladies actor Sparsh Shrivastava in an important role. It is produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra and presented by Sukumar Writings. Sukumar is supervising the screenplay, while Ajaneesh B. Loknath is composing the music.
