At the trailer launch event of Peddi, Mega Power Star Ram Charan thanked Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Aamir Khan for paving the way with films like Sultan and Dangal.
“I thank Salman sir and Aamir sir for giving us Sultan and Dangal and paving the path for films like Peddi. We made Peddi because those films worked in the past. They gave us a lot of confidence, and we followed in their footsteps,” said Ram Charan.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports action drama is set to hit the big screens on June 4. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the movie stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, while AR Rahman composed the music.
