Mumbai: The producers of RPPL have announced Gehena Vasisth as the new Savita Barbie playing the lead in their feature film “Savita Barbie 3D”.For those who aren’t so familiar with her, allow us introduce Gehena. A South Indian actress, Gehena was born in Chirimiri, Chattisgarh and was a goo dstudent all her life. She even won a gold medal in Robotics in a national competition, during her Engineering student days. She is the new face of the much-awaited character of Savita Barbie, which is the most popular Indian adult character whose animated movie was the highest grossing web-release in history.

She has been known to have worked in a myriad of films like ‘Anukunnadi Okati Ayyindi Okati’, ‘Namaste’, ‘B.Tech Love Story, ‘Aidu 5’ and ‘Premunchu Pilladu’ as the sole female lead. She has performed in special songs in the movies ‘Happy Days Returns’ and ‘Muppai Mudu Prema Kathalu’.

But not just films, she has also starred in many television commercials of brands like Monet Carlo, Phillips, Lux and Chevrolet. In 2012, she also won the Miss Asia Bikini. One has also seen her on the small screen on shows like ‘Behanein’ (aired on Star Plus) and ‘VJ: True Life Show’ (MTV).Such a impressive long list of work projects in just three years of a career so far, makes her new role in a Hindi feature film much anticipated.
