The government of India allowed the theatres to start operations but not many have dared to do that in the Telugu states. A couple of theatres in Vizag opened but they are screening old films.
The talk is that the theatres association in Vijayawada has decided to start screening films from the next week onwards with 50% occupancy.
But the theatre association in Telangana are yet to start screening and have not taken any decision. The makers of several films are waiting for theatres to open so that they can test their luck and see how films perform in the days to come if they are released. But as of now, nothing is happening and this is creating even more irritation for others.
