Raashi Khanna, who was last seen in Tholiprema, has a handful of Tamil films lined up for release later this year. The actress has already completed shooting for Shaitan Ka Bachcha in which she is paired opposite Siddharth, and Imaikkaa Nodigal, which also has Atharva, Nayanthara, and Anurag Kashyap.
Talking about her Tamil films, Raashi said, “I am happy to have played crucial characters in all my Tamil films. I learnt a lot from Anurag Kashyap with whom I worked in Imaikkaa Nodigal. He suggested that I should act in more small-budget, non-commercial films. Right now, the script and my character are of utmost importance for me, and I am happy that Tamil film industry has offered me some good roles.”
The actress also added that she prefers reading the entire bound script of the film, instead of just focusing on her character. “The crew that I work with says that I ask a lot of questions. That has been my approach to acting as well and I like getting to know more about various aspects of cinema,” she said. Apart from these films, she will also be seen in Srinivasa Kalyanam with Nithiin, and Adanga Maru with Jayam Ravi later this year.
