The advance bookings for Ramayana were supposed to open this morning, but the process hasn’t started yet. Fans and audiences have been wondering what is causing the delay.
The word is that there is a tussle between distributor Dharma Productions and exhibitors over revenue-sharing terms. It is said that the distributor is asking for a 60% share in the first week, which the theatres are not comfortable with.
The bookings will open once the distributor and exhibitors reach common ground. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, the movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles.
