It is a known fact that Akkineni Nagarjuna is working in the direction of Ram Gopal Varma for a film called Officer. The shooting of this film is nearing its completion and the film is up for a release on the 25th of May.
From the past few days, there have been several reports that the film is a rip off of an English film called Taken. But Varma today cleared that Officer is a different script altogether and has been made on a realistic note.
Nagarjuna will be seen as a mature cop in this film which will also release in Hindi. Watch out this space for more updates on this project.
