Sankranthiki Vasthunnam’s spectacular performance at the global box office is leaving the trade in awe. The Venkatesh-starrer has amassed close to a sensational Rs 175 crore gross in the 6-day extended festive season. In a massive feat, the Anil Ravipudi directorial has even surpassed several records previously set by Rajamouli’s RRR.
After a phenomenal 6-day run, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is eyeing a solid Monday at the ticket counters across the twin Telugu states. Many single screens and multiplexes across the Andhra, Nizam, and Ceded regions have had good occupancies for the morning and noon shows. Given the fact that the evening night shows occupancies will usually be better than the morning shows, the film is set to end its opening week with a huge bang.
Also starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary in lead roles, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is produced by Dil Raju and Shirish. Bheems Ceciroleo’s chartbuster songs have played a crucial role in eliciting the unanimous positive response for the movie.
