The much awaited biopic of Pullela Gopichand is finally taking wings. Sudheer Babu is going to play the lead role as the ace badminton player, who went on to coach several famous players including Saina Nehwal, P Kashyap, and PV Sindhu.
Although the film was announced a while ago, Sudheer Babu got busy with other projects, and Praveen Sattaru, who is going to direct the film, went on to work on another project. Meanwhile, Sudheer Babu has begun preparing for the role and he revealed that he is working on his badminton skills.
As of now, the team hasn’t finalised when they are going to start shooting the film and who the rest of the cast is going to be. More details are awaited.
