It is well-known that a biopic on the life and legacy of legendary yesteryear heroine Savithri is in the making since a long time. Titled Mahanati, this biopic will be directed by Nag Ashwin and bankrolled by senior producer Ashwini Dutt’s daughter Priyanka Dutt.
After several months long speculation, reports emerged a couple of weeks ago that happening young beauty Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to play the titular role of Savithri in the movie.
But in her latest interview post the success of Nenu Local, Keerthy revealed that she was indeed approached by Mahanati’s makers, but she is yet to sign on the dotted lines, leaving the suspense continue to prevail on this much-awaited movie.
