Hero Karthi’s action thriller, Khaidi, released simultaneously along with its Tamil version, Kaithi, for Diwali. Even though the Telugu version received unanimous positive reviews, the collections were pretty modest until the first couple of days. However, the film picked up over the weekend and it is having a successful run at the ticket counters across the twin Telugu states.
Now, none other than popular Tollywood hero Ravi Teja is keen to act in a movie like Khaidi. The Mass Maharaj watched the film recently and called Karthi to appreciate the latter’s performance in an intense role. Karthi himself revealed this tidbit during his interaction with the media yesterday. Needless to say, it’ll be quite interesting to see Ravi Teja, who has been doing formulaic commercial potboilers, trying out something new a la Khaidi.
