Senior Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan’s derogatory comments on his Leo co-star and star heroine Trisha in a recent interview have caused a huge stir in film circles. Several film personalities, netizens and Trisha’s fans are taking to social media and lashing out at Mansoor for his misogynistic comments.
And it’s Trisha’s turn now to blast Mansoor and his regressive mindset. She took to X just a while ago and tweeted, “A recent video has come to my notice where Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner.I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste (sic).”
Trisha went on to say that she is grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as Mansoor and that she will make sure it never happens for the rest of her film career. “People like him bring a bad name to mankind (sic),” she concluded.
In a video interview that’s going viral on social media, Mansoor Ali Khan said that he was disappointed that he didn’t get a chance to do rape scene and get intimate with Trisha in Leo. “When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film so I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. But these guys didn’t even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule,” Mansoor said.
