Varanasi: Keeravani Reveals Major Music Update on Rajamouli–Mahesh Babu Film

Globally renowned S. S. Rajamouli’s next venture, Varanasi, stars Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu. The shoot is progressing briskly, with over 50 percent already completed.

Oscar-winning composer M. M. Keeravani, who is working on the film, recently shared an update that has thrilled fans. He revealed that he will begin composing the background score in September 2026.

Fans are eager to witness the musical brilliance he brings this time. Keeravani is known for his meticulous work on Rajamouli’s films, and expectations are naturally sky-high.

Priyanka Chopra, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prakash Raj, and R. Madhavan play key roles in what is touted as one of the biggest budget films ever made in India. The film is produced by KL Narayana and SS Karthikeya.

The pan-world project is slated for release on April 7, 2026. It is also set to become the first Telugu film shot entirely for IMAX, promising a grand cinematic experience.
