The engagement ceremony was held earlier today at a Chennai star hotel. The engagement was held privately with only family and close friends present at the event. Akshitha got engaged to Manu Ranjith, the great grandson of DMK chief Karunanidhi.
Apparently, Akshitha and Manu were in a relationshiop for a while now, before taking the leap. The wedding is expected to take place next year and is being planned on a grand scale.
