After a stupendous first weekend, Sai Tej and Samyuktha Menon’s recently released supernatural thriller, Virupaksha, had a good hold on Monday at the box offices in the twin Telugu states and overseas. The film continued its solid run even on Tuesday and collected a cool Rs 2.39 crore share in Andhra, Nizam and Ceded regions.
In its 5-day theatrical journey, Virupaksha has amassed a whopping share of Rs 21.74 crore at the ticket counters across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The film has reached the break even mark in all centres on Monday itself, and the buyers will be pocketing huge profits hereafter. However, whether or not the Karthik Varma directorial manages to survive the Agent storm this Friday remains to be seen.
