Lokesh Kanagaraj’s long-awaited film Kaithi 2 seems unlikely to happen anytime soon. Initially, Lokesh planned to do Kaithi 2 after wrapping up Coolie, but surprisingly, he announced a movie with Icon Star Allu Arjun.
This new project is expected to take no less than two years to hit the big screens, and hence the probability of Kaithi 2 going on floors anytime soon is very low. In a recent interview, Karthi was asked to respond about Kaithi 2. The actor replied, “Lokesh himself has to clarify on that.”
Many feel that Lokesh should complete Kaithi 2 at the earliest, as Karthi has been waiting for the film for a long time. However, with Lokesh moving on to Allu Arjun’s #AA23, Kaithi 2 is confirmed to be delayed. LCU fans are very disappointed with the way things are turning out.
