Bharatheeyudu 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to Kamal Haasan and Shankar’s blockbuster 1996 patriotic drama Bharatheeyudu, is all set to go on the floors in December. Recently, there were reports that Malayalam star Dulquer Salmaan was roped in for a key role in the film.
And if the latest reports are anything to go by, popular young Tamil star Simbu has been signed on for a crucial role in Bharatheeyudu 2. Apparently, Simbu will be essaying the role of a cop in the sequel. However, the actor is yet to sign on the dotted lines and an official announcement is expected very soon.
Lyca Productions will bankroll this much-awaited project with a high budget. Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music. Stay tuned for more updates.
