A social drama, titled Jai Sena, is currently under production, and the makers say that the film is a tribute to farmers and that it’s story is based on actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s ideology. Jai Sena’s team said that the film is inspired by Pawan’s fight for the protesting farmers in Amaravati.

According to the latest updates, star comedian turned hero Sunil will be playing a crucial role in Jai Sena. He will be seen as a cranky IPS officer. Sunil said that the character he’s portraying has been the most satisfying for him in the recent times.

Jai Sena also features noted heroes Srikanth and Tarakaratna in lead roles. Preeti Sharma is the leading lady in this V Samudra directorial. V Arun Kumar has bankrolled the film, which is hitting screens on January 29.

Nandamuri scion Mokshagna’s acting debut has been a hot topic for the last few years. However, the project never materialized on various occasions and there were even rumours that Mokshagna is no longer interested in pursuing a career in acting and movies.

But if the latest buzz is anything to go by, Mokshagna’s debut film is back in news. Apparently, star director Puri Jagannadh will be helming this crazy project. Furthermore, the film will be launched on June 10, on the occasion of Mokshagna’s father Balakrishna’s birthday. Puri is said to have penned a solid action drama and even got Balayya’s nod to the script.

Puri Jagannadh is currently busy with his pan-India film, Liger. More details about Mokshagna’s debut film can be expected in a couple of months.

Kollywood star Suriya has a decent fan following among his Telugu fans across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He has been planning to act in a straight Telugu film for the last few years. However, the project has been getting delayed due to the lack of a perfect script and director.

Now, the latest exciting buzz that has been doing the rounds in Film Nagar circles reveals that Suriya’s straight Telugu film will be directed by mass action entertainers specialist Boyapati Srinu. Furthermore, the project will be bankrolled by leading producer Dil Raju. However, this is a mere speculation and we will have to wait to see if it ends up being true.

On the other hand, Suriya has a solid line-up of films for the next couple of years. He will be acting under the direction of Gautham Menon, Pandiraj and Vetrimaaran.
