Tollywood director Boyapati Sreenu is well known for his ultra mass action entertainers loaded with high-voltage emotions. Boyapati has joined forces with his favorite hero Nandamuri Balakrishna for the fourth time after delivering three blockbusters – Simha, Legend, and Akhanda. The duo’s ongoing film is a sequel to Akhanda.
Boyapati Sreenu began Akhanda 2’s shoot at the holy Maha Kumbh. This interesting move had made the movie a hot topic across the country. Now, the director and his team are on a location hunt in the mystic and majestic Himalayas. Boyapati will be canning a few crucial scenes featuring Balayya in The Himalayas in the upcoming schedules. It looks like Boyapati is planning all things grand to make Akhanda 2 a never-before-seen cinematic spectacle.
Also starring Aadhi Pinisetty in a negative role, Akhanda 2 will require Malayalam actress Samyuktha Menon as the female lead. The film will also feature several popular pan-India actors. Produced by Raam Achanta and Gopi Achanta under the 14 Reels Plus banner, Akhanda 2 will have a soundtrack composed by Thaman. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on September 25. Balakrishna’s daughter, Tejaswini Nandamuri, is presenting the film.
