Recently, a female-centric Bollywood film titled Crew was released in theatres. Starring Kareena Kapoor, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles, the film was directed by Rajesh Krishnan of Loot Case fame. At the Indian box office, Crew collected over 80 crores nett and emerged as a hit. The worldwide gross of the film is about 150 crores.
This comedy caper is expected to make its digital debut on 24th May. Netflix holds the post-theatrical streaming rights of Crew, which is based on the famous business tycoon and owner of Kingfisher Airlines, Vijay Mallya.
In the international markets, Crew is the second-highest Hindi grosser after Fighter in 2024. Singer Diljit Dosanjh, Kapil Sharma, and Rajesh Sharma essayed supporting roles. Anil Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, and Rhea Kapoor produced this multistarrer.
