Reportedly, the makers of the love drama received lucrative deals from a couple of OTT platforms. The producers contemplated OTT release, given the uncertainty pertaining to theatrical business.
But the makers dropped the OTT plans after Vishwak persisted on theatrical release. He is firmly against OTT release and eventually persuaded the makers of Paagal to stick with theatrical release. The film will be out in theatres once cinemas re-open.
