Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar made her Telugu debut with Santosh Sobhan’s Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, which was released this Sankranthi season. A few web portals stated that the actress entered the film industry to earn money significantly.
The actress has now issued a statement expressing her disappointment over such news. She wrote that she never said something of that sort. Priya Bhavani Shankar added that everyone works for money, and there isn’t a big deal even if she had said that way.
The Yaanai actress expressed her dismay that actors are targeted in this aspect. Priya Bhavani Shankar further stated that she had worked very hard on her way up and added she wouldn’t let anyone make it sound easy and cheap. She will be next seen in Simbu’s Pathu Thala, which releases on March 30, 2023.
