In an exciting revelation, news has come out that Priyanka Chopra was the original choice to play the key role of Surpanakha in the upcoming mythological epic Ramayana.
However, the role eventually went to Rakul Preet Singh and has already started shooting for the same. The film, a grand retelling of the Ramayana, features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, and Yash portraying the mighty Ravan.
With a stellar cast and high expectations, the film is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated projects in Indian cinema. The first part will be out during Diwali 2026.
