After having a sensational run during the Sankranthi festive season, Sankranthiki Vasthunam started on a solid note on its first working day. The movie registered terrific occupancies today in many centers and especially in the Uttarandhra region the movie is going bonkers. This Venky starrer already zoomed past Rs. 100 crores share making it the first Venkatesh film to achieve this feat.
After smashing Ala Vaikuntapurramulo’s first week record (previous record holder for the first week highest grosser among Telugu regional films), this Anil Ravipudi’s directorial has now joined the elite Rs. 200 crores gross club. Needless to say Sankranthi Vasthunam is the fastest regional Telugu movie to breach this milestone.
Very soon the movie is set to emerge as the all-time highest Telugu grosser among the regional films crossing Ala Vaikuntapurramulo. Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary played the female leads. Dil Raju and Shirish produced this flick under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Bheems Ceciroleo composed the tunes.
