National award-winning actor Dhanush and director Arun Matheswaran have joined hands once again for maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s biopic and the film is titled Ilaiyaraaja. The title and first-look poster were unveiled in a grand event held in Chennai.
The latest update is that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will write the screenplay for this much-anticipated biographical film. Kamal Haasan is a terrific writer, and he penned the screenplay for some wonderful movies, including Vishwaroopam, Virumaandi, Anbe Sivam, Panchathantram, and Hey Ram.
Kamal Haasan providing the screenplay is undoubtedly a massive advantage for the film. Produced by Connekkt Media, PK Prime Productions, and Mercuri Movies, Ilaiyaraaja will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Ilaiyaraaja himself is composing the tunes.
