After a slow start with the Friday premieres, Vijay Deverakonda’s Taxiwaala has had a fabulous Saturday across the US. The film had collected $115,944 from the premieres.
And until Saturday night, Taxiwaala collected a gross of $192,802 from 101 locations, taking its premieres plus day one collection to $308,746. On the other hand, whether the film can surpass the half a million dollar mark by Sunday remains to be seen.
Taxiwaala had a solid Saturday even across the major cities and towns in the twin Telugu states. The makers have claimed that the film has breached the break even mark on its opening day itself, by grossing over Rs 10.5 crores.
