Toxic day 1 worldwide collections: Yash starrer takes an excellent start

Rocking Star Yash’s most-awaited PAN-India film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has opened to a phenomenal worldwide response at the box office. Released amid massive expectations, the film raked in Rs. 150 crore gross on its opening day, as per the makers.

Yash’s mass appeal and the film’s action sequences are the key highlights. The makers claim that the movie is received a strong response across all regions. The film has recorded massive collections not just in the North belt but also across the South markets.

Despite negative reviews from critics, trade analysts point to Yash’s stardom as a key factor behind the film achieving such a massive opening day. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria play other key roles in the film, which is directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions.
