Vikram and sensational director Shankar’s first film, Anniyan, was a mammoth blockbuster in South Indian cinema. The psychological action thriller deals with various scenarios that cause displeasure for the protagonist regarding society. It featured Sadha as the female lead. The movie was released in Telugu as Aparichithudu, and the dubbed version did unimaginable numbers.
The massive blockbuster is up for re-release. The Telugu version will be out in cinemas on 17th May. While this is no doubt a great news for movie buffs, a few are expressing their concern about the re-release. Premikudu and Shivaji should have been re-released in Telugu, but they were postponed at the last minute due to unknown reasons.
We need to see if Aparichithudu can make it to the big screens once again. The movie also stars Prakash Raj, Vivek, Nassar, Cochin Haneefa, and Nedumudi Venu in pivotal roles. V. Ravichandran produced Aparichithudu under the banner of Aascar Films. Harris Jayaraj composed the tunes.
