BO miracle: This Hindi devotional film recorded a mind-boggling 2150% growth in its third week

Bollywood films are known for their long runs due to the long OTT window system the industry has set in place after COVID. One box office miracle has now unfolded in Hindi cinema with the devotional entertainer Hanuman Ansh.

In its first two weeks, the movie made just around Rs. 1.5 crores nett. Despite positive talk, the film lost screens to new releases, but Hanuman Ansh fought back and the showcasing increased automatically. In its third week, the movie made a solid Rs. 10 crores nett. The film registered a mind-blowing 2150% growth compared to the second week.

On its fourth Friday, Hanuman Ansh collected in the vicinity of Rs. 6 crores nett, and the fourth weekend is set to wrap around Rs. 24 crores nett. Well, these are just estimates at the moment, and we can’t say exactly where the film is heading.

Time and again, Bollywood is proving what miracles can be done with long OTT windows, provided the content is striking. The devotional drama is written and directed by Vishal Chaturvedi.

Hanuman Ansh is produced by Swambhu Media Network Pvt. Ltd., Ragini S., Namrata G. S., and Anupriya A. Nagar. Chandan Anand and Shobhinav Satyaa played the lead roles, while Nikhil Dubey, Udaysinh Rajput, and Purnima Tiwari were seen in pivotal roles.
