Audio Review : Nannaku Prematho – A different attempt from the crazy combo

The audio of NTR’s most awaited movie, Nannaku Prematho has finally hit the stores. Let’s see how the DSP album turns out to be.

Song 1: Follow Follow

Analysis:

The album of Nannaku Prematho starts off with the song ‘Follow Follow’ which is sung in a soft tone by NTR and hits you instantly. DSP has penned some catchy lyrics and the hook up line ‘I wanna follow follow’ gels with the tune nicely and will be an instant chart buster.

Song 2: Naa Manasu Neelo

Analysis:

The next song in the album is ‘Naa Manasu Neelo’ which is a complete romantic number. The lyrics penned by Bhaskar Bhatla are very romantic and the special thing about this song is the lyrics for male version are in Telugu while those of female version are in English. DSP brings some liveliness to this song with his unique singing. The beats of Saxophone and Acoustic drum sets which come at the middle of the song are superb.

Song 3: Dont’t stop

Analysis:

Moving on, the third song in the album is an energetic number ‘Don’t Stop’. Lyricist Chandrabose has used some heavy duty words and has provided some meaningful and inspirational lines. The way Raghu Deekshith crooned this song will make everyone groove to the beats. The song seems like an average number in the first impression, but it will go well in the long run.

Song 4: Love Me Again

Analysis:

The fourth song in the album is ‘Love Me Again’ which is a sad number. The lyrics penned by Chandrabose are lively and convey the feelings of a person, accurately, who gets separated from his lover. DSP has provided a pleasant tune with violin and percussion instruments and the fast beats in the song gel with the flow. This song reminds us of ‘Sayonara’ of 1-Nenokkadine.

Song 5: Love Debba

Analysis:

The final number in the album is ‘Love Debba’ which is a mass item song. Lyrics by Chandrabose are average but will definitely attract the masses. Deepak and Sravana Bhargavi have crooned the song in an energetic way. DSP has composed this song with his trademark percussion instruments in a simpler manner.

Verdict:

On the whole, the audio of Nannaku Prematho is quite different from Devi Sri Prasad’s regular albums. Even though the tunes are not in the regular commercial format, they are elevated well by some meaningful and catchy lyrics. Follow Follow, Na Manassu Neelo and Don’t Stop are our picks and will be instant hits with one and all. Rest of the album is just an average fare.
